Message from the President

Greetings from the Western Region of WLAM! Our region encompasses Allegan, Barry, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Ottawa counties, with most events occurring in the greater Grand Rapids area.

The Western Region pursues WLAM’s guiding principles by offering a mix of social, service-oriented, and personal and professional development events in a welcoming environment. We network and develop friendships over happy hours and fun social events. We strive to give back to our community by volunteering and fundraising for local philanthropic organizations. One of our biggest community events is our annual “Women Lawyers vs. Judges” softball game at Aberdeen Park, which benefits the YWCA of West Central Michigan. We also work to better ourselves and our society both professionally and personally by continuing our education through lectures and workshops.
