As it has in years past, WLAM Mid-Michigan plans to award the Carolyn Stell Memorial Scholarship to a deserving female law school student/graduate later this fall. To be eligible to receive the Scholarship, a female applicant must:
- Reside in Ingham, Eaton, Clinton or Shiawassee County;
- Be a graduate of a law degree program (J.D.) at an accredited law school now or by no later than May 2021; and
- Attest and certify that she will apply and sit for the Michigan Bar Examination during February or July 2021.
Selection of the Scholarship recipient will be made by the Carolyn Stell Memorial Scholarship Committee, and shall be based on an applicant’s (1) financial need; (2) community service and involvement; (3) academic achievement; and (4) career objectives.

The deadline for submitting an Application is Friday, November 6, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. The selection will be announced the following Friday, November 13, 2020.
