Video from 4th Annual Bench Bar Culinary Challenge
The 4th Annual bench bar Culinary Challenge for charities was held on a beautiful June 14 evening at the home of Court of Appeals Judge Kirsten Frank Kelly. The event raised over $16,000 for three charities: Alternatives for Girls, Crossroads for Youth and the WLAM Foundation's scholarship fund. Over 200 people attended.
Although the event is not an official WLAM event, it is well supported by WLAM members, on the committee, and in attendance.
Thank you all who attended, donated, volunteered for, otherwise supported and/or enjoyed the evening.

Wayne Region 2011 Annual Report
See the attached Annual Report for a summary of Wayne Region's activities from May 2010 - April 2011. This report was submitted to the State Board of WLAM and copies were available to members at the Annual Meeting Lunch on May 12. We currently have 140 members, an almost 40% increase from a year ago and only 10 below Allison's goal of 150 for this year!

We swore in the new Board, presented WLAM banners to new judicial WLAM members from the Wayne Circuit Court, Hon. Megan Maher Brennan, Hon. Charlene Elder and Hon. Connie Kelley, and listened to words of wisdom from WLAM member and State Bar President-Elect Julie Fershtman on "Learning to Lead". All this happened on May 12 at Andiamo Riverfront @ the Wayne Region's annual meeting lunch.

35 women from all over metro Detroit had a great time Friday night, January 28 @ the 2011 Winter Dinner Wine Down. President Allison Bach and the event committee got the mixing and meeting going with a "Common Threads" challenge and the conversations never stopped.
