April's Membership Meeting
Please join us for our April Membership Meeting on April 22, 2010. The luncheon's topic is "Take Your Child to Work." We hope that you and your children will attend this fun event. The Western Region will be collecting items at the luncheon to donate to Kids' Food Basket, a nonprofit organization that provides an evening meal at the end of each school day to children who attend schools where 80% or more of the population live at the poverty level. The organization is requesting the following items: (1) sandwich cracker packs (peanut butter or cheese); (2) 100% vitamin C fruit snacks; (3) fruit or pudding cups. Please consider bringing some of these items and taking the opportunity to teach our children firsthand about giving to othersin need.
