Washtenaw's August 9 Family Picnic Featured in Michigan Lawyers Weekly September 7, 2009 Issue!
Thanks to outgoing Publicity Chair, and multiple Pulitzer Prize nominee, Teresa Killeen, Michigan Lawyers Weekly's September 7, 2009 issue prominently featured a recap of the Washtenaw Region's "Hottest Sunday of the Year" Family Picnic. Young and old, including three generations from multiple WLAM families, agreed that Sunday August 9th wasn't a day for crayons or candy bars. As reported by Teresa for the MLW article, "The food was good, the drinks were cold, and, like the typical risk-averse attorneys that we are, the potato salad was packed on ice!"
We look forward to seeing everyone next year at the Gallop Park shelter, or a place to be determined later. Bring your water balloons!
